MISS PEACH'S COZY COTTAGE

Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two? Now our precious Hunny Bunny is also an angel cat...please let me be your hostess at the cozy cottage...my name is Miss Hope.

Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.

CAT ART SUNDAY

For todays Cat Art Sunday I want to show you a special treasure chest with a pretty calico kitty sleeping on it.
Inside it will hold all of the 15 kitties on the bracelet. Mommy found it in a gift shop and fell in love with it. A circle of furry friends...they will soon be on their way to a very special lady that we all love very much.
My dearest tiny angel friend Normie sent me this tea set. How precious is this gift! Now I can have my Party Mix served on this pretty tray while mommy drinks her tea. We think the kitty looks a little bit like our friend Buddy, just not as portly:)

We wish you a wonderful Sunday full of blessings and full tummies..we love you all...

FANCY FELINE FRAMED ON FRIDAY

A kitty still life photo....
featuring the beautiful Miss Hunny Bunny settled in her favorite spot behind the LOVE Ivy in the front window... We call it the LOVE Ivy because the leaves are purrrrrfectly heart shaped. This ivy belonged to my first mommy...we've treasured it very much for over 10 years. The bouquet of PEACE roses helps us remember those who have gone on before us...this is Memorial Day
weekend and we wish PEACE for the world...too many have paid the price for it and we will never forget them.

HANG MY HEAD IN SHAME!

Oh we hang our head in shame...FC BAYERN MUNCHEN lost the European Soccer Championship to INTER MILAN of Italy. It was the worst game we ever saw...a national tragedy!
We sure hope the WORLD SOCCER CUP CHAMPIONSHIP in South Africa will show some exciting match ups this summer!

YIKES WHAT IS THIS??

As many of you know...I am helping mommy remodel the bathroom. This final touches went on the door today and we needed to paint over a boo boo on the door...so I helped. Can you tell? Do you like the creamy shade of ivory? It looks good but does not taste like Devonshire creme at all!!!!Wash it off quick mommy before it dries on!!!
So do you like the new beadboarded door? Lapdaddy thought we were crazy when we first told him we wanted to do this...now he like how it looks:)
Some of you were wondering were the sandbox sits...on top of the high cabinet that parts the potty from the sink counter...
Mommy smelling stuff and lighthouse collection...
Mommy has to bling up each part of the powder room...
Shelf up above the sand box...
Punched tin ceiling tiles....not really... this is painted anaglypta wall paper...
By the sea, by the sea, by the beautiful sea...you and I, you and I, oh how happy we'll be...

A CLOSER LOOK...AT A PEACHY BEACHY ROOM

I thought I would show you some of the nice little nooks in our little girl and boy room. Since it has become my newest favorite hang out spot, I hope you like what you see. Her first trip with Lapdaddy was to the seashore where she saw her first lighthouse. Mommy loves the seashore and everything in this bright room takes her back there. The tile floor all finished...
The sandbox Lapdaddy built for mommies beachcombing treasures...
Lapdaddy built this little cabinet to house the lighthouse collection
(ha a pun on words)...
Mommy wanted the light bar to be hung upside down
to give it a more vintage gaslight kind of feel...
Nautical paintings...the small one is of Peggy's Cove where my true love Mickey and I were married in Holy Catrimony last October...
The DREAM BATH by Kim Jacobs is one of our favorite prints...
The window sill is purrrrfect for growing African violets...mommy raised this one from a tiny leaf cutting. The color is a pale shimmery blue like the evening sky above the ocean before the sun sets...
The shell has a beautiful cameo carved into it...
you can bigafy to see it better.
A cottage by the sea is a dream scene we love from Thomas Kinkade's paintbrush...
This grapevine seashell wreath is the oldest thing we have in this peachy beachy room. Mommy made it in 1987 after she was inspired by an image in the premire issue of the VICTORIA magazine...
We hope you enjoyed seeing some of the things we love...
the seashore weaves a magical spell over so many of us.
Do you have a favorite spot by the sea to share with us?

CAT ART SUNDAY FILLED WITH TREASURE!

Did you ever think you had all the treasures you could possible want? Then a little package arrives in your mailbox filled with a tiny treasure that just takes your breath away...and it is something so purrrrrfectly selected for you that you could not have done it better yourself...this enchanting porcelain sea urchin shell came from the hearts of ML and the Sherwood gang and our dear Auntie Deb and her Taylor Catsss. Mommy let out a {{sigh}} that you could hear all the way to the patio and we came running to look at what she unpacked. Mommy put her Maui pearls she found in oysters there inside...we think they look dreamy in their beautiful nest...
I cuddle with my beautiful treasure....I dream about what kind friends we have and we both wonder why we deserve to be so blessed. Thank you for the most purrrrfect addition to our seashore sandbox...
This fun cook book and the calico sister kitty pin are going to live with Auntie Deb soon. Mommy is not getting mail out like she should these busy remodeling days. Good things are worth waiting for :))
Calico kitties...a touch of lace...some butterflies and time to dream in this Cat Art Sunday collage

Mommy just loves to make collages with cameos...can you tell? I wish you all a beautiful peaceful Sunday and I will see you all tomorrow...
