MISS PEACH'S COZY COTTAGE

Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two? Now our precious Hunny Bunny is also an angel cat...please let me be your hostess at the cozy cottage...my name is Miss Hope.

Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.

MAD ON MONDAY!!!!!

The candles are burning for Miral and Momo...

Not everyday goes real well at the cozy cottage. Yesterday was one of them. First thing in the morning when my lapdaddy woke up...he stepped in it! Mommy knew what happened when she got up to see the carpet washy machine sitting in the kitchen. Then when she went to raise the shades in my window, she saw some wet stuff and thought I spilled the water from the vase of daffodils she cut. WRONG...I had peed in my burrito! Mommy said she is gonna call it a PEEDA from now on if I do not behave myself. Yes, I can hardly believe it myself!

So before mommy could even have her first sip of coffee, she had to wash wash wash things all clean again. She gave me the pretty Meezer Rescue pad Dragonheart sent me until the burrito was dry. Problem is, it does not open like my burrito. No matter how hard I dug at it or yelled the house down in protest, I could not get inside of it. Some days they should just stay in bed! I hope everykitty has a beautiful week. I am so happy to know Miral and Momo are feeling better. Thank you Lord for sending tiny miracles...

CAT ART SUNDAY WITH A TROPICAL FLAIR!

Mommy and the Lapdaddy just told me some bad news! Next month at this time they will be in Hawaii for a week!!!! Not bad enough that I have to be home alone during play night, now I have to be alone for a whole week!! Some thing about a wedding anniversary and a birthday on the same day.....
I would like to swim in the azure seas like a meerkitty, and pick azaleas to put behind my ear! Then drink nipteenies and sunbathe on lounge chairs!
I have already been practising how to pose properly...
what's that mommy, I forgot my what??

On this Sunday I give a special thank you for the miracle asked for and received...Miral and Momo are improving after their brush with very ill health. God is a mighty God who loves us more than we will ever know.
Thank you for your visits...I treasure each one of them. Mommy is sorry she is so busy with the Play at the moment. It is all she can do just to make my posties each day and help me rush to trouble spots where I might be needed. We hope to visit each of you again when quiet times return to the cozy cottage real soon.

I COULD FLY HIGH.....

My Lapdaddy love me so much...
Today I feel high as a kite that we have a small miracle for MIRAL.. She has eaten somewhat and wandered around her house! Momo is also better! Indeed, I am high! Please keep purrrring for a continued recovery for them both.
Yesterday I got this cool comment from Eric & Flynn about Burgh Island above that is very close to where they live off the Devon coast in England. Devonshire is where my breed first originated.

Eric and Flynn said...
Thank you for visiting us yesterday Miss Peach. We don't know where Soldier Island is, but we were wondering if it was another name for Burgh Island. Agatha Christie went there and wrote several of her books, and we believe it was the setting for "And Then There Were None" It is an island very close to the South Devon coast. When the tide is out, you can walk over to it, but when the tide is in, there was an adapted high tractor type vehicle that could drive through the sea. We don't know if they still use it. If it is the same island, why don't you come and visit us as we are only about 20 miles from there. We could take you to watch your daddy in the play.

So...I will be on my way guys...watch for me! What do you say if we just crash the stage and knock down some of those little statues when the time is right?

THIS IS WHY I AM ALONE MOST WEEKENDS NOW!

I think I should have a part in this play! I can give a very stern look! A good cat is needed in any mystery and I am very photogenic in Black & White...

This is my Lapdaddy playing with all of his friends, pretending to be someone else...

I have to stay home in the cozy cottage each weekend while they are both away...
And Then There Were None
By Agatha Christie

Strangers gathered in a secluded cliff-side house, raging storm, all communications cut, and a murderer on the loose. These are just a few ingredients in Agatha Christies' fiendishly fun mystery.

In a classic Agatha Christie formula, 10 unfamiliar people (AND ONE REAL NICE RED CAT!) of all walks of life are summoned, either as staff or guests, to an isolated summer home on an island only accessible by boat. During cocktail hour of the first evening, a voice comes out of the air accusing each one of the guests and staff of murder—not the kind that is prosecutable—but murder nonetheless. As the guests begin to exchange information on each other and their missing host as a means to figure out what is going on, one of 10 little Indian statuettes placed carefully on the mantelpiece, falls and is shattered. One by one, as predicted by the macabre nursery rhyme that corresponds to the statuettes, an unknown killer murders the guests, leading to a stunning climax and the revelation of a killer amongst them.

CAN A KITTY BE ELEGANT AND SILLY ALL AT THE SAME TIME?

Spring is almost here and I want you all to be in a happy mood this week. So I have asked mommy to load this short movie of me trying to understand how to be elegant while walking about in my beautiful Kimono that Adan sent me from Taiwan.

I just admire Daisy...I do not know how she does it!

WHAT I FOUND IN MY EASTER BASKET....

This is my Easter basket...there is a catnip toy that Luna sent me from Germany and a sweet little furry mouse and those fun food sticks! Mommy added the Whiskas and Sheba.
Please take special note of this box with the kitties on it. It says Cat Tongues across the top of the box. Mommy always bought these when she was a little girl because they were cheap (little girls don't have lots of green papers) and came in such a beautiful box. She gave them as a Mother's Day gift to her Oma and Mommy. As you can see, they are filled with dark chocolates in the shape of little cat tongues. Mommy will eat ALL of them up! I can not have them, but I sat on top of the box a few times!
This is what the Lapdaddy gave to mommy. Marshmallow Easter bunnies covered in chocolate. YUMMY...they are all gone already...
I hope you all had a Blessed Easter...in Germany we celebrate Easter on Monday also. That makes me so happy. Please pass the eggs mommy!
These tiny daffodils are the size of quarters and are called Baby Moon. Lapdaddy loves daffodils the best of all flowers. Mommy loves Lily~of~the~Valley. Those will come in May.

IT IS EASTER SUNDAY AND THE TOMB IS EMPTY!<><

Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he is risen! LUKE 24~6
This beautiful egg was made by a lady name Dawn. Isn't it just too pretty! Eggs symbolize new life... This is what the mommy wants to find in her Easter basket! Miss Delta Peach! Mommy washed my burrito so I got to nap in my old blue fuzzy blanket! Look how the Easter bunny matches my African violets in the bluish purple hue!
Many EASTER blessings to all of my dearest friends<><

SPRING, so many little things.....

One must chose carefully the perfect dress to wear...
Then select the matching Easter bonnet with care.
Mommy brought these Easter eggs from Germany. The yellow one looks like it is getting ready to hatch open. Little yellow fuzzy chick is watching what will pop out. This sweet Easter card was sent to me by my very special friend Normie (he doesn't have a blog...yet:)
This incredibly glittery Easter card came from my dear friend Lorianna. I have never seen such a nice sparkly card!
Over the months I have been getting some beautiful digital scrap book pages from Dragonheart and Pyewacket. But this stunning page you see here is the REAL thing! Each picture selected and placed lovingly, every tiny embellishment coordinated to celebrate the season we usher in now. The Easter basket even has the tiniest wooden sign embossed with Easter (bigafy) on it! I am so honored to have this special gift from my friend Lorianna because she made this with her own hands...hands that often ache with pain, yet she made this page for me. I just had to sit down and cry at first...I am a happy old cat to have such wonderful friends.

Dearest Lord, you know our needs.

We give our hearts to you and hope for your mercy and grace...

Please visit my dearest friend Miral. She is in kidney failure and we are all heartbroken. She lives in Holland with Ruis and the rest of my Kattenpratt family of which I am their 11th kitty. Miral and Princess are look~a~likes and also very close friends. Too young and lovely to suffer so much.

WELCOME ~ SPRING HAS SPRUNG!!!

To help usher in the first day of Spring, I thought I would show you some of the bunnies I have found around the cozy cottage. The one in the grain at the bottom of the door is especially interesting. he even has a chip in the right spot for his eye! Can you see the chick facing away from him? Nature is amazing. Mommy loves this door!

And Spring arose on the garden fair,
Like the Spirit of Love felt everywhere;
And each flower and herb
on Earth's dark breast
rose from the dreams
of its wintry rest.~
Percy Bysshe Shelley

HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SPRING TO YOU ALL!!!
